Even though our dinner plans were cancelled the other night, (you can read the story here) we still enjoyed the apple pie I baked. What else were we supposed to do, right?
So as our daughter was gobbling up her slice of pie she matter-of-factly commented "I never get tired of eating homemade pie". It was a sort of statement and thinly-veiled hint all rolled into one. What makes it even funnier, is that she has probably had one other slice of pie in her life.
